Tecate, B.C., México

After today's hike, we ducked into México.
Where it is exceedingly important not to bring your shotgun.
We visited the border town of Tecate. The brewery is there.
The central square is traditional and pleasant.
They say Municipal Palace. We say City Hall.
All things ice creamy.
I needed to go to confession. Not.
But it's a mighty purty church.
The beer garden at the Tecate brewery wasn't open on Sunday. The Cajun was distraught.
And had to assuage his pain by shopping for shoes.
I am forever fascinated by the fence between the two countries.
There's really not a lot of that left in the world today.
You find these old border markers out in the middle of nowhere throughout Southern California, and in border towns, too.
Wouldn't want you to get yourself misplaced or anything.
Aventure complete.
